OPTI West Roseburg Family Medicine Resident Position – PGY2 Opening
- To be eligible for this open position you must have the following criteria met:
- Successfully completed 1 full year of PGY1 (12.0 months credit) from an ACGME Family Medicine accredited program within the US
- You will need to sign a waiver releasing your FM Milestones / CCC Reviews, ABFM ITE Score Report, completed PGY1 rotations, evaluations, and continuity clinic data (number of patients seen, etc.) from your previous training program to our program.
- We will need a letter from your former program director.
- A cover letter stating your interest in OPTI West Roseburg and reason for leaving your former residency training program.
- Passed your USMLE / COMLEX Step 3 board exam. Unofficial transcripts must be provided.
- Current CV / Resume
- At least two letters of recommendation, preferably recent letters and/or letters from faculty providers that you worked with during your PGY1 residency.
- Copy of your Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) from your medical school
- Unofficial medical school transcripts.
- Copy of your ERAS application (if available).
- Additionally, all applicants must meet our basic criteria for employment:
- Successfully pass a ten-year criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- All candidates must qualify for a limited medical license through the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners
- Candidates that graduated from a medical school outside of the United States or Canada, must have a complete, valid ECFMG certificate.
- Currently, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship. All international medical graduates applying must be US citizens or permanent residents to be considered.
